Hi Everyone on the Grange get Cycling programme.
Hope all your bikes are OK (remember if you have mechanical or tyre problems, let me know, I should be able to help).
Southwark Cyclists have a 2 hour, easy paced, “Healthy Ride” this Saturday (Nov 23rd), 10 am, Peckham Square (Peckham Library). Map of location at: http://healthyrider.weebly.com/next-ride.html. Be happy to see any of you there. Also can collect you and lead to start and back from finish. Just get in touch and we will fix a time/place to meet.
Now the days are shorter, need some lights to get the most from the bike. Halfords have very cheap pair of lights at £2.40. Need to be fixed to bike – not seen them, so not sure how good they are. I like the silicon lights that just slip on to handlebars or seat tube with a flexible loop. You take them off when not needed, just pop in pockets or bag. Halfords and Decathlon sell these at 4.99 each. Similar product is available from MiniInTheBox on the web, £4.60 for pair of front and rear lights, including slow free postage,
